Raw satellite images are optimized to show true water color in your region.
Using the latest imagery, you should be able to identify blue clear water next to green turbid water, along current lines or around eddies.
Using the True Color tool alone can make things hard when trying to identify areas of smaller/minor transitions. We recommend utilizing other tools in conjunction with the True Color imagery in order to identify "breaks" (areas of transition).
True Color is a great tool when your images created by "sensors" (chlorophyll, temperature etc) come up blank. With your own human eye, you might just spot minor transition through gaps in the clouds. This same transitions would show up as white from a sensory image.
